A Dreamy Spring Mother’s Day Session in Bloom
There’s something about spring that feels like a fresh start — softer light, warmer tones, and that sense of everything coming back to life. So when I stepped into the floral installation at Mint Room Studios, it truly felt like walking straight into that feeling.
This particular installation was nothing short of magical. Inspired by the beauty of the season, the space was transformed into a lush, floral-filled environment — delicate blooms, soft pastels, and an airy, romantic design that felt both elevated and effortless. Mint Room is known for creating immersive seasonal installations that are only available for a limited time, making each one feel extra special and completely one-of-a-kind.
From the moment my clients walked in, the energy shifted. The kids were instantly curious, drawn to the textures and colours, while mom got to soak in a moment that felt calm, beautiful, and entirely hers. That’s what I love most about these kinds of spaces — they don’t just look pretty, they create an experience.
The floral design itself felt like stepping into a spring daydream. Soft, organic arrangements and thoughtfully curated details made every angle feel like a perfect backdrop. It’s that seamless blend of nature and modern design that Mint Room does so well — creating environments that feel both editorial and deeply personal.
For a Mother’s Day session, it couldn’t have been more fitting.
There’s something so meaningful about documenting motherhood in a space that reflects that same softness and beauty. The connection between mom and her kids felt even more tangible surrounded by florals — gentle moments, laughter, quiet cuddles — all framed in a setting that elevated every detail without overpowering it.
What I loved most was how effortless it all felt. No need for elaborate props or complicated setups. The space did so much of the storytelling on its own, allowing the focus to stay exactly where it should be — on connection, emotion, and those in-between moments that matter most.
These are the kinds of sessions that feel like memories while you’re still in them.
And that’s the magic of a space like this. It’s not just a backdrop — it’s an experience, a feeling, and a moment in time that you get to step into, even if just for an hour.
If you’ve ever thought about capturing your family in a way that feels elevated but still true to you, a seasonal installation like this is truly something special.
Spring doesn’t last forever… but photos like these do 🤍
