On top of the world with K + S! I’m so excited to finally share some highlights from this beautiful engagement session! The hike to Dundas Peak was so worth it 🙂 #MoreAdventureSessionsPlease
“And I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door…”
K and S’s August engagement session was a true adventure. We hiked up to Dundas Peak in Hamilton for the evening light, and the view from the top, out over the whole valley with the railway tracks winding through the trees far below, was absolutely breathtaking.
She wore a flowing red gown that looked incredible against all that green, and he wore a blue checked shirt. We took our time on the rocky ledges at the edge of the peak, with plenty of hugs, a dip, and a few quiet moments sitting side by side looking out over the view. Her ring got its own moment too, tucked into a cedar branch.
After the peak we wandered into a meadow of tall grass and wildflowers, with big willow trees behind them. The red dress popped against the green, and we finished on a quiet path with a twirl and one last dip as the sky turned soft and pink.
