L+A’s wedding is proof that love is not cancelled, even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. After having to reschedule their original wedding plans which were set to take place in summer of 2020, L+A were determined to not let COVID ruin their year even if it meant re-planning an entire wedding in the course of a few months! And wow, was it ever a special (and absolutely beautiful) day!
Congrats you two! What an honour it was to capture the kind of love that never gives up!
After moving their summer 2020 plans, L and A re-planned their whole wedding in just a few months, and their day in Paris, Ontario was worth every bit of that effort. The historic Arlington Hotel and the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre gave them old stone, brick, warm wood floors and big bright windows, all in one of the prettiest small towns near Cambridge.
The bride got ready with her bridesmaids, who wore long champagne dresses, and their faces when they first saw her in her off-the-shoulder lace gown were priceless. Her bouquet of red and coral roses with white blooms and greenery added the perfect pop of colour, and the guys looked sharp in navy suits.
They said their vows inside the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre, in front of tall windows that filled the room with soft light, with candles set along the floor. Guests wore masks, the flower girl and ring bearer came down the aisle together, and their first kiss had the officiant beaming. Even with everything that year threw at them, the day was full of love.
Paris gave us so much variety within a few minutes of the venue. We took wedding party photos on a steel footbridge and along a shaded trail by the water, a group photo under old stone arches, and, as the sun went down, a few portraits right in the middle of town with the historic buildings glowing behind them.
