Cambridge is one of my favourite places to photograph a wedding. In one small city you get the Grand River, old limestone mills, European-feeling streets and some of the most elegant estate venues in Ontario. As a wedding photographer for over 10 years, I’ve photographed couples all over Cambridge, and every corner gives me something different to work with.
If you’re planning a Cambridge wedding, here are the venues and photo spots I keep coming back to, with real galleries so you can see how each one photographs.
Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa feels like stepping into a European countryside estate. The historic main house, manicured gardens and wooded paths give us timeless, elegant portraits without ever leaving the property. Soft light through the trees makes outdoor ceremonies here glow.

Whistle Bear is always near the top of my list when couples ask which venues photograph beautifully. Rolling fairways, tall grasses, winding paths and light reflecting off the ponds make portraits look effortless in every season.

Cambridge Mill sits right on the banks of the Grand River. Stone architecture, floor-to-ceiling windows and the sound of the water make it one of the most romantic venues in the region, and it’s especially stunning at sunset. I’ve photographed weddings here from snowy winter days to bright summer celebrations.

The old Galt core is full of stone walls, ivy, archways and river views. It’s perfect for portraits between the ceremony and reception, or for an engagement session with a little old-world character.

For couples who love golden hour and wide-open space, Cambridge has it.

Not every session has to be in a garden. Brittany and Kyle had a colour chalk fight at Blackwing Coffee Bar, and Nicole and Justin’s engagement turned a surprisingly warm January weekend into a beautiful session.
For rainy days or an editorial look, Park Hill Studios’ Dolcetto Studio has bright, soft window light, checkered tile floors and a grand piano. See this editorial couple’s session at Park Hill Studios.
A few things I tell every Cambridge couple:
You’ll get sneak peeks within 72 hours and your full gallery in 8–10 weeks, and every wedding collection includes professional prints in a handcrafted wooden keepsake box.
If you’re planning a wedding in Cambridge, I’d love to hear about it. Send me a note and I’ll get back to you quickly.
