A few highlights from H+J’s wedding in Cambridge Ontario at Riverbluffs Park
H and J’s portraits at Riverbluffs Park show off everything I love about Cambridge in the warmer months: the Grand River, big open lawns and lots of trees. It’s a peaceful spot right in the city, and it gave us so much variety in a short time.
We started on a wooden dock reaching out over the river, with an old steel railway bridge in the distance and blue sky above. The bride wore a soft tulle gown with a delicate lace bodice and carried a loose bouquet of white blooms and greenery, and the groom looked sharp in a navy suit with brown shoes. They twirled, danced and walked hand in hand to the end of the dock, and those photos feel so light and happy.
Next we walked up a set of garden steps through tall greenery and out onto the lawns, where one of the trees was covered in pink blossoms. We added a little white smoke for a few dreamy portraits under the trees, found a big rock for them to sit on together, and finished with a piggyback ride across the grass and plenty of laughs.
