Ready to plan your own engagement session during golden hour at Huron Natural Area? Whether you’re walking along the boardwalk, pausing near the water’s edge, or dancing in the wildflowers—you’ll leave with photos that glow with warmth and authenticity.
A and J’s engagement session at Huron Natural Area was soft, warm and full of that golden early summer light. It’s one of my favourite spots in Kitchener for engagement sessions, with shady paths, open meadows and quiet water all in one place.
She wore a flowy white sundress with tie-back straps and he wore a white linen shirt, a fresh, timeless look that glowed in the evening sun. We started on a tree-lined path, then wandered out into a meadow of tall golden grass, where the sun sat low behind them and lit everything up.
Some of my favourite photos from the evening are the simplest ones: a forehead kiss, a quiet hug, her ring catching the light as she rested her hand on his shoulder. I love how relaxed and natural the two of them were, laughing and walking hand in hand through the grass.
We finished at the water’s edge, where the reflections and the last of the light made for a calm, peaceful end to the session. It was the perfect way to wrap up a beautiful summer evening.
