“I have found the one whom my soul loves.” -Song of Solomon 3:4
Here are some highlights from Milan and Thayse’s beautiful October wedding!
Nithridge Estate in Ayr, just outside Cambridge, feels like a hidden country estate. The historic house is surrounded by formal gardens, a stone fountain, tall evergreens and wide lawns, and in October the trees were just starting to turn. It was the perfect setting for Milan and Thayse.
Thayse wore a beautiful lace gown with a long veil and carried a bouquet of pink lilies and roses, and Milan looked sharp in navy, with his groomsmen in grey. Their colours were soft and romantic, and they looked right at home against the estate’s gardens and old stonework.
They said their vows outside, on the lawn surrounded by greenery and tall grasses. I loved watching the two of them during the ceremony: so many smiles, so much joy, and so many sweet glances at each other. The verse they chose said it perfectly: “I have found the one whom my soul loves.”
Nithridge gave us so much variety in one place. We took portraits by the fountain and on a stone bench in the garden, wandered the paths under the trees, and found quiet moments where the two of them could just laugh together. The mix of historic architecture and natural greenery makes every photo feel timeless.
